Sending the form stores what you typed — your name, your email address, and your message — so that I can read it and reply. It also records your IP address, the identifying string your browser sends about itself, and the time you sent it. Those last three are not about you; they are how the spam that arrives here is told apart from the enquiries that matter.

It is kept in a database run by Cloudflare, and a copy is emailed to me through Resend. Nobody else sees it. It is never sold, shared, or added to a mailing list, and I will not email you about anything other than what you wrote to me about.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from a real browser rather than a script. It runs silently — there is nothing to click and nothing to solve, and most people will never know it was there.

To do that it looks at your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, its TLS fingerprint, and which site the check was requested by. Cloudflare describes exactly what it collects and why in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum. It reads how the request arrived, never what you wrote in it.

This site runs on Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, it processes the requests that reach it — including IP addresses — in order to serve pages and to keep the site up.

Serving those requests also counts them, and I can see the totals: how many people came, roughly which country they were in, and which pages they opened. It is counting rather than watching. Nothing in it has a name attached, none of it is joined up into a picture of one person, and it exists because the site is being served at all — not because anything was added to follow you around it.

There is no analytics script here, no advertising trackers, and no third-party code watching what you read. Nothing is stored on your device: no cookies, and nothing that could follow you from here to anywhere else. I can see that people visit. I cannot see who you are, and the site works perfectly well that way.
